A jukebox is a machine which plays music automatically mostly when a coin is dropped into it. It has a collection and you get to choose a song from the collection. The term “juke” was taken from the African –American slang the “jook” which means dance. The steepletone jukebox had several ancestors which were invented way before 1890’s.
